Farhan, Deepika scoop top awards Legendary athlete Milkha Singh's biopic 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag' was the biggest winner during the 59th Filmfare awards in India this morning.

The inspiring film won the Best film award while Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra won the Best Director award and multi-talented Farhan Akhtar won the Best Actor award.

Deepika Padukone won the Best Actress award for her wonderful performance in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram Leela'.

Veteran actress Supriya Pathak, who played Deepika's mother in the film won the Best Supporting Actress award.

Best Supporting Actor award went to Nawazuddin Siddiqui for his endearing performance in 'The Lunchbox'.

Jeet Ganguly, Mithoon and Ankit Tiwari won the Best Music Award for the soulful music of 'Aashiqui 2' while the Best Playback Singer (Male) went to Arijit Singh for singing 'Tum Hi Ho' from 'Aashiqui 2'.

Monali Thakur got Best Playback Singer (Female) for 'Sawaar Loon' from 'Lootera'.

Southern superstar Dhanush was awarded the Best Debut Male award for his performance in 'Raanjhanaa' while Vani Kapoor got the Best Debut Female award for 'Shuddh Desi Romance'.

Actress Tanuja received the Lifetime Achievement award.

Priyanka Chopra and Ranbir Kapoor hosted the show which boasted incredibly wonderful performances of Ranveer Singh, Shahid Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit and Katrina Kaif.
